Below is a listing of available insurance continuing education courses. Classroom training is $11 per credit hour. Certain courses are available online for $6 per credit hour. On-site training is available with discounts available for larger groups.

Agents' Legal Responsibility

We will explore the legal environment of today’s insurance marketplace, the agents’ personal responsibilities, the legal relationships of Agency, and some common problems and defenses against claims.

Every business faces a significant liability risk today; insurance agents face an additional risk. It is the risk of being sued for professional activities, we call E&O. Statistics show agents are getting sued, and E&O claims are increasing both in frequency and severity.

We will study the basic concepts of personal auto insurance, including the eligibility, definitions, and exclusions of Part Liability Coverage, Part B – Medical Payments Coverage and Part C – Uninsured Motorists Coverage.

Auto Provisions, Endorsements & Premiums

We will discuss Part D (Coverage for Damage to your Auto), the insured’s duties after an accident or loss, and general provisions. We will talk about various endorsements, and some commonly asked questions about personal auto premiums.

Beyond the Homeowner's Policy

This course takes a look at specialty vehicles, watercraft and inland marine exposures. We will review the limitations under basic homeowner and auto policies, ways to cover these risks, and the underwriting elements of each.

We will discuss liability coverages of the small business owner, including their exposures and exclusions under the BOP. Then we will review common BOP policy conditions & endorsements.

focuses on the health care and financial needs of an aging population. These concerns may affect your clients, your parents and/or yourselves. We will examine the durable powers of attorney, Federal Programs, revocable living trusts and some basic elements of estate planning.
